| In the Columbia Area All classes are currently taking place at the Center For Dance Education satellite studio in the Old Mill in Lexington, SC: 711 E. Main St. It's down in the basement past the coffee shop and across from the used bookstore. Dress in whatever makes you comfortable, just make sure that you can move easily in it. A gentle suggestion: you can see more of the subtleties of what you're doing if you can see your midriff, though it's not required. Classes are drop in and drop out! We do not run in sessions. All-levels tribal bellydance class: ****Wednesdays, 7-8 PM. $10**** In this class, you'll do a warm up and stretch, work on Taxim, learn a slow move from ATS slow vocabulary and a fast move from ATS fast vocabulary. If you have zils (finger cymbals), bring them, as we'll work on zilling and dancing the last ten minutes. Please contact Natalie Brown before joining this class to make sure that this class is appropriate for your knowledge and fitness level. This class starts with intense warmup, conditioning and stretching, followed by isolation drills, cues and variations for ATS moves and an open dance practice session. Please bring zils and a notebook. In the Greenville Area Monthly workshops are currently taking place on the fourth Thursday of every month. Classes are two hour intensives open to all levels from 7 to 9 PM. Cost is $35 in advance or $40 at the door.
